Welcome to FoxAlive. Punk patches, photography shirts, chicano buttons, and zines created by people of color. All work is hand-made at my home in Southern California.
3/20/24- All patches/shirts have been discontinued until further notice. All current pending orders containing these items will be fulfilled and should be considered the last of these designs.
I use various art forms - from photography to silk-screening - to promote visibility of overlooked issues and bring affirmation to disenfranchised communities... and bitterly make band patches as that's where most of the sales are at the moment. Please don't tell me anything I do here is important, because it isn't - that title is sarcastic.
I have been screen-printing for over five years and make all my products from home in California. As everything is hand-made by myself, carrying on the DIY spirit of punk, each product is unique. If you are a local band who would me to print some shirts, patches, or photograph a live performance please message me. I am affordable to the scene and open to trades.

Any messages stating something along the lines of "I will purchase X if you ship it out faster than the stated shipping times" will be ignored. All messages asking me to re-create stolen artwork will also be ignored.
If you have any questions or concerns, please message me via Etsy. Most emails sent to the hero (dot) fox address are sent directly to spam and do get buried under actual spam.
IMPORTANT SHOP UPDATE:
Only selling the most popular selling items now as I'm stretched too thin with two jobs now. Shipping times have been extended to reflect my schedule and will not be shorter just because you live in the same state/city/county. All my previous orders are also delayed and yes, I am very cancel/refund happy as I believe I have the right to refuse orders.
Last bit of the rant: just because your item is marked shipped does not mean it will immediately go out. Due to my medical job, I wait a week before dropping it off to lessen any chances of spreads. Le end.

Do you offer Free Shipping?
I offer free shipping on all domestic orders over $50. Just enter code FREESHIP50 at checkout. Otherwise, shipping is calculated to account for Etsy listing and transaction fees. This free shipping is not retroactive, so if you didn't read this before that's your loss.
Also note to International Buyers, please be aware due to people complaining about duties/taxes having to be paid, I have increased my shipping prices so I can pay those on my end; I will alter prices based on any changes there.
After care instructions?
To help prints last, I recommend dry ironing all shirts/patches once before wash. This is a good practice to have on all shirts you purchase elsewhere, too.
Can I swing by your place and pick up the order? Maybe text to set-up a pickup?
I've had three stalkers in the past eight years, with one still keeping tabs on me. What do you think?
Shop updates?
I'm extremely transparent on my IG @FoxIsStrange. I hardly ever talk about FoxAlive, but if something major in my life happens you should be able to figure out your order may be delayed. I am slowly transitioning to a stand-alone website, but the operative word is slowly. Don't DM me about your order status as chances are your message will be buried.
When will my order be shipped out? It shouldn't take as long as your processing time states, especially because I'm literally the next city over.
Despite popular belief, living closer to me does not mean your order will arrive sooner, especially when you aren't my only customer and everything is listed as "made to order;" i.e. I still have to make it; i.e. stop assuming this is Amazon.
My processing times are my processing times. If you can't respect them, don't order. If you happened to ignore them and/or ask for updates, I'll just send you a screenshot of your order stating the days remaining.
When you purchase a product from me you are agreeing to my terms of service, which includes these processing times (especially now that we're in a pandemic). If you can't respect this, I will cancel your order.
Why are things so expensive?
Short answer: Items are priced to cover Etsy selling, listing, and shipping fees. If you want cheaper versions sans the above cost, check out my standalone website (foxalivedistro.net)
Long answer: As I'm constantly overwhelmed with orders when items are priced fairly, I've had to extend shipping times to months... which lead to constant harassment and an unbelievable amount of cancellations because people ignored clearly stated ship times. As I had great success calming things down - enough to ship out within reasonable times (READ: not by Amazon standards, ya jerks) - by raising prices a few years ago, I'm doing it again. Gives me time to focus on art I actually want to create instead of what ya'll buy up here.
